Good surfing

Got in for a quick paddle this past weekend.  It as nice to get wet even though that's about all.  A small south swell in town today through Wed probably.  The changing of the seasons usually brings a bit of downtime for most folks.  Easy for me as I have been down for months.  Slow updates, but here are some pics to keep you going.

Back in the water

Finally cracked today just mere hours before our launch on tax day.  We are cranking and things are in high gear at the offices.  Headed down to Queens with Mike on the longboards.  I took out the new "used" Miller 10'.  What a pig.  Almost 25" wide and over 10' long.  Might be a bit too much for me, but then again I am getting bigger each day.  Been trying to start Yoga again this past week and hopefully my schedule will be a 6 a.m. paddle out or yoga session.  That's sounds nice eh?  There's a small south swell in town and once in a while a nice set rolls through.  Long waits, but it was nice to be in the water again under clear blue skies.  Stiff offshores, but the water seems relatively clean.  I hope you all had a great day!

One Week til Launch

Ok folks.. I know this is a surf blog and all, but it is also my little space to rant and rave.  I have been essentially out of the water for almost four months.  There was a reason... I am putting everything I got into a new startup company.  Well, in one week we launch our close private beta for friends and family to test out the system.  If all goes well, we will have a public beta launch in mid May which means everyone will get a chance to try it out.  So if you all got time, swing by chipin and sign up for our beta list and you'll be one of the first to get an invite for the public beta.

Now back to our discussion of surf.  Not much going on this week for either shores as we are in the changing of the seasons.  Ray our resident weather guy says the last storms of the winter are almost done and we are entering summer.  We better all get out to do the special storm dance as it is either a summer of surf or a flat summer.  I hope our launch is successful so I can get my fat ass back out in the water.

Poo Water and Surf

It is amazing that in all the rains coming down and the poo water that there's good surf, but I hear there's good surf to be had.  I am in San Francisco this week fundraising for my company, but have been reading that there's surf for the diehards.  I hope you are getting some in without getting sick.  I'm back Tue and hope to jump in asap.  Been feeling dry and fat.  Pics for to make you smile.
